Dawn Gouge is a Professor for University of Arizona Extension who manages an applied research and Extension program focused on reducing risks associated with public health pests and improving environmental health and sustainability in rural and metropolitan communities. Dawn serves as a board member for the IPM Institute of North America, Inc, the HUD funded Stop Pests in Housing Advisory Team, and the Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals – Tribal Program Pesticide Council Advisory Board. Dawn supports state and government agencies regarding public health pest issues and provides technical support for industry members including environmental health professionals and pest management professionals. She has an Applied Biology Bachelor of Science from the University of Wales and an Applied Ecology Doctorate from the University of Reading in the UK.
